Well, two questions actually....
1. What kind of camera do you use and what would you recommend for a beginner? (I really want to go with Canon, but if you think something else is better, lay it on me.)
2. Is there a good book or something that I can get to help me get started? (I already love taking pics, and I'd like to think I have a decent eye for it, but I need to learn about settings and all that I suppose.)

I use a Nikon D50 and absoluletly love it. It is easy to use. Leave it on automatic and let it handle it all. I had a Canon before this and did not like the shutter speed as well as my Nikon. That is important whatever kind you get-get fast shutter speed. At least I think so :)
You do have a good eye for pics. I came to this conclusion after checking out all of your myspace pics.
Hi!! I'm so glad you looked me up! And yes, Tara is linked on my blog!! I have a Canon Rebel TI and LOVE LOVE it! I have a ginormous zoom lense to attach to it, too. I don't like the filters that you can connect to the lenses, though. But...I'm no professional!
